Full of righteous indignation, she goes to see Miss Spencer the headmistress to have it out with her. Miss Spencer however, quickly puts her in her place and blames her lax attitude for her daughter's behaviour. Miss Spencer tells her that it isn't the girl who needs punishment, but her mother. The wind is taken right out of Mrs Hunter-Ford's sails because she knows that Miss Spencer is right. Miss Spencer suggests that Mrs Hunter-Ford should take the punishment and pass it onto her daughter. Very soon, Mrs Hunter-Ford finds herself lying across the beautiful teachers lap, her elegant skirt pulled right up and her pretty knickers around her knees. The spanking that follows is a memorable one, but Mrs Hunter-Ford tries to be brave, however, as her bottom becomes redder and redder, being brave becomes more difficult. At last Miss Spencer allows her to get up and soothe her well-punished bottom. Paul is not too enthusiastic about this, but reluctantly agrees, only after telling Cassie that if he allows Julie to stay, she must live by his rules. It's left to Cassie to explain what these rules are and what the penalties are for breaking them. She explains to Julie that if she upsets Paul, she can expect to be punished and then gives her shocked sister-in-law a demonstration. Julie doesn't really believe that Paul would spank her, so agrees to abide by the house rules, anyway she really has nowhere else to go. The girls are chatting for so long, that Cassie forgets to cook Paul's dinner, so when he comes in from work, he is not happy. This give Julie the chance to see first hand, just what is likely to happen to her. Cassie knows there is little point in protesting and places herself over her husbands' knee to take her spanking. He instructed Edith, the senior maid, to make sure that Daisy, the newest recruit to Caningham Castle, knows exactly what to do and if she doesn't, she Edith, would be held responsible. Edith tests her charge to see if she has learned the rules, and when she finds out that Daisy knows almost nothing, she realises that she will be punished because of this. So the only thing to do is to punish Daisy first. The maids report to Sir Roderick at the appointed time and they are tested. Both fail miserably and are punished for their lack of concentration, and their laziness. Both girls are given a sound spanking, but that is only a prelude to what is to come.
